[ALERT] Change in Proof of Funds For Your Canada Visa

There is an important update for Canada aspirants. As you know, to support your family and yourself in the country, Canada requests for proof of funds of a sufficient amount of money during the visa process. The fund requirements change almost every year with the changing economy of Canada.

Once again, on 1st Jan 2020, IRCC updated the proof of funds requirements for the Federal Skilled Worker Program and the Federal Skilled Trades Program. Like before, applicants under Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or with a valid job offer are not required to show any evidence of sufficient funds.

Who is it Valid for?

According to IRCC guidelines,

  • you as the primary applicant

  • your spouse or partner

  • dependent children

  • spouse’s dependent children
